“This was probably one of the most competitive track meets that we have encountered this year.  Our emotions were through the roof and we were very competitive for the duration of the track meet.  I had at least seven young men that were not fortunate enough to make the top four in their events; however, I’m very proud of their overall effort for this track season.  On the other hand, I have 16 guys that will be moving on to the Regional Meet at Clinton next Thursday.  I would like to congratulate Tevin Bell on winning the 2021 MHSAA Division 4-6A Boys High Jump Champion as a first-year jumper, and I would also like to congratulate Joshua Griffin for being the runner up in the 110 and 300 hurdles.”
