Warren Central finishes the season with 9-3 record
The Warren Central High School Vikings football team ended its season Friday night with 18-14 loss to Clinton.
Vikings quarterback Kentrick Thompson scored two touchdowns on the night in the Vikings final game. He threw a 49-yard touchdown pass to Jerry Evans and rushed for another before halftime.
The Vikings played a hard offensive and defensive game all night but came up short of a victory.
T.J. Thompson rushed for 102 yards for Warren Central and made plenty of good plays for the Vikings.
The Vikings finished their season with a 9-3 record and made it to the playoffs for the ninth consecutive year under head coach Josh Morgan.
