I Can Fly Ministries Christian Arts & Mentoring congratulates Warren Central High School graduate Shylo Brown with scholarship presentations of $2,500 from Appddiction Studio CEO Timothy Porter as well as a laptop and a $500 Jaylen Porter Scholarship from I Can Fly Ministries mentors.

Shylo Brown has been involved with I Can Fly Ministries for 6 years as a mentee. He is now a youth liaison serving on the board of directors and one of the lead choreographers for the group. While at WCHS, he was in JROTC as a supply officer.

I Can Fly is a mentoring & arts program for grades 7-12 that gives scholarships to graduating seniors that are being mentored in the program.  Awards are granted based on mentees’ commitment and completion of their initial growth plan upon entering the program. Throughout the year, children take dance and mime classes and are afforded the opportunity to take advantage of sessions such as ACT workshops, character building, CPR, culinary, resume and interview skills, and more.
