Warren Central High School to host Red Carpet Bowl Football Classic double header

The 57th annual Red Carpet Bowl Football Classic will be taking place tomorrow, Aug. 23, in the Warren Central High School Stadium. The kickoff for the Vicksburg Warren School District’s football season is at 5:30 p.m. Arrive early to ensure parking and the best seats. 

The first game of this double header is between the Vicksburg High School Gators and the Madison Central Jaguars. Afterward, at around 8 p.m., the Warren Central Vikings will battle the Holmes County Central Jaguars on the field.

Because of construction at Warren Central, parking will be available across the road at Beechwood Elementary School and Hinds Community College. Fans can walk or ride shuttle buses to the gate.

Tickets for the games are $10 in advance and can be purchased from Michel’s Music, 601 Sports, Riveroutfitters, VWSD high schools and junior high schools, through the VWSD Athletic Ticket Office or from any Red Carpet Bowl member. 

Tickets will also be available at the gate for $15.
