Warren Central Vikings to scrimmage North Pike on Aug. 20

The Warren Central High School football team is scheduled to face North Pike in a scrimmage game before the 2021 season begins.

The game will be held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 20, when Warren Central will host the Jaguars for the scrimmage one week before the Red Carpet Bowl.

Both teams were strong contenders last year, promising an interesting match to kick off the 2021 season. Warren Central went 9-3 in 2020, while the Jaguars advanced deep into the playoffs and finished the season 8-2.

The Vikes and Jaguars both bring strong programs and talented athletes to the field, which will be put to the test in the late summer match-up.
