Warren Central’s cross country team competed well on Saturday

The Warren Central High School cross country team had a meet on Saturday where the boy’s team placed 14th out of 35 schools in the 5k course.

Matt Brewer, Holt Pownall, Aiden Dickerson, Will Bates and John Austin White we’re the top five performers for WC and got them an average time of 21:08 for the 5k course.

Academy of Innovation student Cora Lindsay came in fourth place out of 144 runners at the Choctaw Trails with a time of 13:13 in the 3k course.

The Vikings will have their next meet on Sept. 17 at Warren Central Intermediate at 8 a.m.
