Warren County Courthouse hosted Empowerment Hour event on Friday

On Friday, the Warren County Courthouse was the host of the Empowerment Hour event. October is a month that raises awareness on many issues, such as domestic violence and mental illness. The event consolidated many issues into a site for vendors to promote knowledge and material around various causes.

“October is just chalk full of all of these issues and items that they push and want us to learn more about. We figured this was just the perfect time to kind of combine everything and not focus on just one issue, but several that affect people in their daily lives,” said Circuit Court Judge Toni Walker Terrett.

Vendors were present to offer information to a range of issues such as domestic violence, cancer, COVID-19 and more.
