On Saturday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., residents can take advantage of the free vaccine drive at the old Gap location on 4000 Frontage Road. First dose, second dose and booster shots will be available.

“If people need a first dose, a second dose or a booster, we’ll be able to provide that service tomorrow,” Warren County Emergency Management Director John Elfer.

Those who wish to reserve an appointment can do so by visiting covidvaccine.umc.edu.  Appointments are not necessary. However, walk-ins will be based on availability of doses.

“There were over 500 appointments left,” said Elfer. He went on to add, “They do not have to have an appointment. If somebody just shows up and walks in, as long as we have doses available, we’ll be able to service those folks as well.”
