The Warren County Fire Service held a training at Ward’s Wrecker Service on Saturday where multiple units were working on how to properly remove a victim from a vehicle while using the Jaws of Life.

Members from both the Warren County Fire Service and the Vicksburg Fire Department were all in attendance in the heated weather to pry open doors from vehicles to complete their necessary training. The key part of the training was to learn how to take a car apart safely without harming the patient.

Chief Kennedy and Public Information Officer of the Warren County Fire Service Jeff Riggs both went into deeper details about the training:

The training lasted from about 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and all of the skills learned will help benefit those who keep us safe.
