Warren County firefighters are receiving donations for Ida victims for Saturday delivery

The second day of the Warren County firefighter’s donation drive is underway until 7 p.m. at the Lee Road Fire Station (Fisher Ferry #2) located at 4423 Lee Road.

“If people can’t get here at 7 [p.m.], and they’ve got donations, just shoot us a message, we’ll be glad to wait around for you,” stated Warren County firefighter Mitch Lange.

The drive on Friday yielded many much needed supplies such as baby diapers, food, batteries, charcoal and even fire extinguishers.

“I greatly appreciate the support from the community,” stated Lange. “Thank you Warren County for helping us out.”

Supplies needed include:

  • Non perishable food items
  • Hand operated can openers
  • Personal care items
  • Baby products
  • Shelter (such as tents)
  • Blankets
  • Towels

Anything that can be of use is welcome to be donated. The supplies donated are to be shipped out on Saturday around 4 a.m. by Warren County Fire personnel.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the donation drive will be hosted in a drive-through format. Warren County firefighters will unload any items to be donated.
