Warren County man arrested for sexual battery of a child

VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–A warrant served on Hoxie Road yielded items that resulted in the arrest of a Warren County Man.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace reported to Vicksburg daily news that Marshall A. Smith, 81, was arrested and charged with one count of sexual battery of a child under 16.

The investigation was led by Stacy Rollison, Detective Todd Dykes, Zac Primeaux and Deputy Jerry Davidson, who assisted with the warrant and transported Smith.

Citing an ongoing and active investigation, Sheriff Pace was unable to provide further information.
