Warren County native Joseph Branch has been named Officer of the Quarter by the Yazoo City Police Department.

Branch joined the department in 2019 and is a graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in Rankin County. He previously worked at the Vicksburg Police Department as a booking and front desk officer.

Interim Yazoo Chief James Winstead said in a social media post that Branch “has shown a high level of dedication, and an excellent work ethic that has made a positive impact among his peers and with the community.”

Branch grew up in the Eagle Lake community and attended Warren Central High School.

Congratulations Officer Branch.
