Warren County Sheriff’s Office recovers stolen property from Chickasaw area

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call near the rural Chickasaw area on Aug. 23.

Property owners contacted the Sheriff’s office upon visiting their property there and finding two unclaimed vehicles in the yard.

Upon arrival, sheriff’s deputies discovered a Harley Davidson motorcycle and the shell of a Cadillac Escalade. Neither vehicle was in operating condition.

Running the VINs on the vehicles revealed that the Harley Davidson motorcycle had been reported stolen in 2018 and the Cadillac Escalade was listed as stolen in 2017.

Both vehicles were recovered and towed. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is further investigating to determine how and when the vehicles were deposited in the area as well as who is responsible.
