Warren County under a Tornado Watch

The threat of bad weather associated with Hurricane Laura will continue throughout the day today. The National Weather in Jackson has issued a Tornado Watch for our area until 4 p.m. today.
Rain bands from the hurricane will be coming overhead sporadically making tornadoes and damaging winds possible.
Hurricane Laura made landfall near Cameron, Louisiana at 1 a.m. with winds of 150 and was rated a Category 4 hurricane.
The storm is currently due west of Vicksburg with the eye northwest of Alexandria and is on a path that will take it just east of Shreveport.
