Warren County under enhanced risk of severe weather
Severe weather is likely to hit the Warren County and surrounding areas on Friday. The National Weather Service in Jackson stated there is an enhanced risk of severe storm activity with wind gusts likely to be around 60-70 miles-per-hour. There is also a potential for quarter-sized hail.
Storm spotters have been put on alert due to the potential of severe weather.
“The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and emergency management personnel in support of severe weather operations may be needed for portions of the region today through tonight,” states the NWS.
