Warren County-Vicksburg Public Library opening by appointment next month

Effective Monday, March 1, 2021, the Public Library will return to browsing and computer use by appointment.
Appointments are available in 30-minute time slots on the hour and half hour, beginning at 9:00 am, Monday to Friday. Each session is limited to 10 patrons. Parents may bring one child or a baby (must be in a stroller/carrier) and a child. For children age 12 and older, parents may schedule an appointment at the same time as their own.
Please call 601.636.6411 to schedule an appointment. Please arrive within five minutes of your time; library staff will be available to take patrons’ temperature, administer a short health questionnaire and offer hand sanitizer. Patrons, age two and older, are required to wear masks covering mouth and nose. Masks must remain in place throughout the duration of the visit.
Please call the library if you are unable to keep your appointment. Walk-ups allowed where space is available.
One-hour appointments are available on the hour for Local History/Genealogy research. Only two patrons are permitted for each time slot and may only visit the Local History Room or use the microfilm machine.
All appointments end at 4:00 pm. Curbside Service will continue with pickup appointments beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 6:45 pm, Monday to Thursday, and at 4:45 pm on Friday.
Please be advised, the bathrooms in the lobby are closed to the public.
The library is closed on Saturday until further notice.
