Upon arrival, firefighters observed the first structure fully involved.

After smelling what was first thought of as grilling, and hearing popping noises, a neighbor came outside to check and saw the flames in the front window of the home. The neighbor immediately shut off the power to the structure and called 911.

The blaze quickly spread and within minutes had enveloped the structure.

Ladder 3 was able to pump water to quell the flames in the first home. The adjacent home also suffered damage and caught fire. Firefighters managed to extinguish the smaller flames on that structure.

The first home seems to be a complete loss. The second home received damage to the roof area. No injuries were reported.
