Water main break on Mission 66

Crews are working Monday evening to repair a break in a main water line that runs along Mission 66 in Vicksburg.

At about 4:30 p.m., engineers on the site said it would take about an hour of work to be able to access the pipe, and then they will be able to begin working to repair it.

At this time, a boil notice has not been issued although there will likely be a boil requirement once pressure is restored.

Traffic on Mission 66 near its intersection with Rosa A. Temple Drive will be impacted throughout the project.  Use caution in the area.
