Water outage scheduled for northern Vicksburg Wednesday

A water outage is scheduled in Vicksburg for Wednesday night to allow for maintenance on water lines.

Affected areas are Washington Street north of Rusty’s Riverfront Grill, all of North Washington Street and any subdivisions and neighborhoods along North Washington, as well as Haining Road.

The outage is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 10 p.m. and is expected to last approximately six hours. Once service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect.
