Watts selected to play in the Dream Bowl

Vicksburg native Kordell Watts has been selected to play in the Dream Bowl.
Watts, who recently starred on the offensive line at the University of West Alabama, is one of few selected to play in the prestigious game.
Over the past few seasons, Watts has been the “soul of the offensive line” for UWA as he led them to many victories, including a huge 80-0 win over North American University in 2021. He also starred at Jones CC before heading to UWA where he quickly earned a starting spot.
The Dream Bowl is a College Football All-Star Showcase of the best FCS, D-II and D-III players from across the country. It provides first-class accommodations, meals and facilities for the players, along with a full weekend of football and social-related activities for their friends and families, which will create a lifetime of memories for their collegiate send-off game.
The game will be live-streamed on Jan. 22.
Watts is a 2017 graduate of Vicksburg High School who helped the Gators to a 9-4 season as a senior under former Head Coach Marcus Roger.
