WC and VHS took playoff losses on Tuesday

Warren Central High School baseball team took a 3-1 loss to Gulfport in game one on Tuesday.

The Admirals got their runs from all singles in the second inning. The Vikings got on the board in the fourth after a single from Jack Wright.

Charlie Appleton went 2 for 3 at the plate while Connor Watkins, Maddox Lynch, Kylan Landers, and Wright all had one hit.

Landers threw four strikeouts in the loss.

Game two will be held in Gulfport on Friday night.

VHS vs. Lake Cormorant:

The Gators took a 12-1 loss to Lake Cormorant where Decedric Brown went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Ryan Grey, Kearris Gilliam and Mincer Minor IV all had one hit.

They will both play again on Friday at Lake Cormorant.
