WC defeated Clinton 2-1 on senior night

Warren Central High School baseball team pulled off a close 2-1 senior night victory over Clinton on Tuesday.

After a double by Blake Channell, Kylan Landers earned a single followed by a sacrifice from Connor Watkins to get WC their first run. Channell would then get a steal to help the Vikings go up 2-0.

The Arrows would get their lone run in the sixth inning after a single from Wiggins.

Landers pitched earlier in the win where he struck out eight and only allowed three hits. Watkins came in relief to strike out three and allowed zero hits.

The Vikings had a total of two hits which came from Channell and Landers.

WC will graduate Charlie Appleton, Kylan Landers, Reagan Houston Williams, Blake Channell, Jacob Oldenburg, Jonathan Wells, Jack Wright, Seth Sterling, and Ismael Trujillo.
