WC defeated Murrah 55-42 on Friday

Warren Central High School girl’s basketball team took down Murrah 55-42 on Friday night.

The Lady Vikes went up 15-8 in the first quarter after receiving shots from Zion Harvey, Jae’la Smith, and JaMya Sanders. By halftime WC had a 36-12 lead after Kayleigh Karel popped three 3-pointers.

The second half consisted of WC maintaining their lead as Smith led the way with 20 points. Karel hit four 3-pointers to end the night with 15 while Harvey finished with 12 on the board. Mariah Harrison and Sanders both put up three points and Bre McDowell added two.

The Lady Vikes will travel to face McComb on Saturday.
