WC defeated Natchez 14-0 on Monday

Warren Central High School baseball team knocked off Natchez 14-0 on Monday.

Kylan Landers sacrificed in the first inning to help WC get the first run as they went up 1-0. With hits coming from Jacob Oldenburg, Blake Channell and Landers in the second pushed the Vikings lead to 6-0 heading into the third.

Jack Wright also struck out a couple of batters early in the game.

Connor Watkins and Maddox Lynch both got RBIs in the third followed by doubles from Channell and Cade Fairley to put the score at 13-0 after pulling in seven runs.

After another single from Watkins, Ryan Nelson picked up the final RBI to give the Vikings(3-0) the 14-0 win.

Wright struck out five on the night.

Watkins went 2 for 2 while Channell, Sterling, Fairley, Lynch and Nelson each had one hit.
