WC defeated Parklane 6-4 on Saturday

Warren Central High School baseball team went on the road to defeat Parklane Academy 6-4 on Saturday.

Big hits from Seth Sterling and Maddox Lynch helped WC take the 2-0 lead early in the game. Jack Wright would strike out a couple of batters early on the keep PA scoreless.

Sterling got WC on the board again in the third after a single along with a double from Lynch as the Vikings went up 4-0.

PA got their first run in the fifth inning but Ismael Trujillo got WC their final RBI in the sixth.

Sterling went 3 for 4 with three RBIs while Kyle Landers went 2 for 4. Lynch also went 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Cade Fairley and Blake Channell each had one hit.

Wright struck out seven and Landers struck out two.

WC will travel to Terry on Tuesday.
