WC freshman football team defeated Terry 22-14 on Tuesday

Warren Central High School ninth grade football team got a 22-14 victory on Tuesday over Terry High School.

KJ Younger was able to get the first rushing touchdown of the night early as WC held a 8-6 lead for the majority of the night. Younger also scored the second touchdown to put the Vikings up 14–6 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Bulldogs eventually tied the game at 14 as they scored a rushing touchdown with less than two minutes to play. The Vikings’ defense held their own all night and kept the Bulldogs away from the end zone for most of the night.

With 30 seconds left in the match, Teryn Green hit Caleb Lane for a 20-yard touchdown that put WC up 22-14 which led to the big win.

WC will travel to Germantown on Tuesday.
