VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News)–After cheering on the Warren Central Vikings for many seasons, Emma Rose Ragland has signed a modeling contract with Lucid Models.
Ragland was noticed by Sharon Coker while completing her senior portraits in high school. Coker suggested she should sign with Lucid Models.
Fresh out of high school, Ragland will have her first photoshoot this Sunday which will consist of mostly fashion modeling.
“This opportunity feels great and I love it and the people are the best,” Ragland said.
Although Ragland will be mostly fashion modeling, she hopes to one day get into runway modeling.
Getting into the modeling business is an enormous accomplishment for Ragland, all of which she dedicates to her mother who passed just over a week ago.
“This is all for her,” Ragland expressed. “I also want to say thank you to Sharon Coker for the opportunity,” she added.
Despite modeling on the weekends, Ragland will attend Mississippi State University this fall where she will major in fashion and merchandising and plans to one day make her own clothing and open her own boutique.
