WC knocked off Brookhaven to earn their second win on Saturday

Warren Central High School softball team picked up their second win of the day after a 11-2 victory over Brookhaven.
Maddie Pant didn’t waist anytime striking out a couple of batters in the first inning to put WC up to bat.
Kennedi McKay got the first RBI to help the Lady Vikes get on the board just before MK Ferguson reached on a error that led to Tyra Bridges getting the second run.
Sophomore Zion Harvey stepped up in the second inning with a big hit that brought in two more runs and Makayla Jackson would also help the Lady Vikes bring in two more after a nice hit of her own in the third. Before the inning was over, Harvey got a home run to add another two run scores to push the lead to 11-2.
Pant struck out four six in the win and only allowed two hits.
Harvey ended the night with four RBIs while going 2 for 3 at the plate. Jackson went 2 for 2 with two RBIs while McKay and Bridges both finished with a hit.
Additional stats will be added once game changer updates.
WC will travel to Cleveland Central on Monday.
