WC’s basketball season came to an end after a close loss to Petal

Warren Central High School boy’s basketball team’s season came to an end Tuesday night after a close 55-53 loss to Petal.

Gaylon Turner scored 18 points on the night. DeCorey Knight, Jr. added nine points and Taylor Mitchell put up eight points.

WC finished things with a 8-16 record under head coach Keith Williams and found much more success than last season.
