Interview questions by WC student McKinley Phillips:

Warren Central School track and field athletes Jonathan Henderson and Stanley Doyle both dominated in Thursday’s meet.

Henderson, a junior for the Vikings, came in first place in the high jump at 6’4.

“I always worked hard in practice and I prepared the night before by taking an ice bath and getting plenty of rest,” Henderson said. I gotta see some people later this week that I lost to last year and I’m going to make sure my legs are fresh for the next meet.”

Doyle, who is a sophomore, came in first place in the 400m at 52.91.

“I listened to what my coach told me but I thank the man above for getting me through it,” Doyle said. I’m going to keep working hard and take it day by day.”

Both Henderson and Doyle are led by WC head coach Corey Wilson Sr.
