We have a new Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen

A new Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen was crowned today in Vicksburg.

In a competition held at the Ardis Williams Auditorium for over two days, Miss Metro Jackson, Nataleigh Nix, took home the crown.

Miss Mississippi, Emmie Perkins and Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen 2022, Cameron Davis, helped crown the new Queen.

The new Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen’s service initiative focused on “Acts of Kindness “AOK.” She sang in the talent portion of the event and she aspires to be a psychiatrist or a recording artist.

Nix won a $5,000 scholarship as she took home the crown. A total of $14,800 in scholarships and prizes was raised this year for the pageant.
