Where There's Smoke…

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire… but the smoke may travel far away from the fire if the winds blow just right. I’ll use this opportunity to remind people that the wind has carried the smoke from Franklin County all the way here.  Imagine what a the wind could do if it carried sparks away from your small little debris fire into a heavily wooded, or even worse, heavily populated area. Please be conscious of the conditions when making your decision to start a fire.   Let’s all play it safe and wait until the stormy season has passed before we start burning off the leaves and limbs that Winter has left behind.]]]]> ]]>
