Wilda Kay Hunter, 1955 – 2023

Wilda Kay Hunter passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023. She was 67 years old.

Kay was born in Jackson, MS. She worked for Mid-South Lumber for 30 years. Kay was a charter member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a compassionate animal lover. She is preceded in death by her father Burnell Barnes, stepfather Guy Crawford, and brother-in-law Johnny McKay.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years James Hunter, mother Jeanette Crawford, and sisters Faye McKay and Rachel Berry.

Services will be Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Clemts officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Oden, Cody Shiers, Kenny Steadman, Robert Smothers, Mickey Martin, and Andy Martin.
