Williams and Burke both named St. Aloysius MVPs

St. Aloysius track and field runners Brennon Williams and Natalie Burke were named the team’s Most Valuable Player.

Burke, who recently signed a scholarship to Millsaps College, made it all the MAIS state track meet this season. She came in second-place in the triple jump, third-place in the long jump, and third in the 200 meter run.

Williams won two state titles this season, coming in first-place in the 400 and 200 meter runs. He also won the Heart of a Champion Award for the Flashes football team.

Both Williams and Burke were well coached by Michael Fields who led both the girls and boys teams.
