Williams bond set at $275,000 for drug and weapons charges

Judge Angela Carpenter set bond for Duane Lamar Williams at $275,000 in Vicksburg Municipal Court Thursday afternoon. He has been bound over to the Warren County grand jury.

Williams was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking of narcotics and four counts of possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with a Wednesday morning drug bust.

The value of the drugs, guns and cash seized by the Vicksburg Police Department has been estimated at $25,000.
