Willie Harris Jr. Celebrates 90th Birthday with Drive By Parade

Willie Harris Jr. celebrated his 90th birthday with a parade of well wishers this afternoon.

A long line of cars consisting of family and friends from California, Louisiana, and other states lined up on Dana road to drive by, honk, and wave. Some cars were decorated with balloons and signs.

Mayor George Flaggs as well as other members of the community were in attendance, with Mayor Flaggs getting out to hand Mr. Harris a gift.

The event was created by members of Mr. Harris’ family.
