Wilson Carroll named as St. Aloysius new head swim coach
St. Aloysius has named Wilson Carroll as the new head swim coach for the the Flashes.
Carroll has a long history of being a successful swimmer, as he swam for Greenwood Swim Team where he was a state champion. He was also a intramural swimmer at Harvard, where he lettered for three years on the rowing team.
After college, Carroll began competing in triathlons and he also won the Gator Bait and two mile swims at Eagle Lake along with multiple other successful swims, including a 5k in Chicago.
In 2013, Carroll became President of Briarwood Pool Association in Jackson. He had a astonishing 90 swimmers participating in the first year and he would stay for the next three years.
Today, Carroll is a attorney and a member of the vestry at the Church of Holy Trinity. He is also president of the Fostoria Neighborhood Association.
St. Aloysius is happy to bring Carroll on as head coach to continue the greatness that the Flashes have had over the years.
