Winter weather expected to hit Vicksburg this evening

Winter weather is expected to make a delayed appearance this evening as temperatures drop throughout the day.

Expect cloudy and damp weather with a chance of scattered rainfall. Around 11 p.m. the temperature will reach a low of 36 degrees which may lead to snow and precipitation by midnight.

Tomorrow there’s a 40% chance that there will be snow and rain though out the early morning before the sun emerges and temperatures rise to a high of 48 degrees.

Stay warm, stay safe, and be mindful when driving. Low temperatures and precipitation could make roads slick.
