Woman charged after hitting boyfriend with car

Carrie Luke, 41, of Natchez appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, March 12 facing a charge of aggravated domestic violence. 

Luke was arrested Wednesday, March 10 at 2:13 p.m. after she allegedly struck her boyfriend with her vehicle on Warrenton Road, causing injuries to his left leg.

The grey vehicle pictured chased the pedestrian off the road and injured him (photo by David Day).

He was transported by ambulance to Merit Health River Region where he was treated and released.

Judge Penny Lawson set bond for Luke at $30,000 and she was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
