Woman crashed into Trustmark Bank in Vicksburg

A woman driving her Nissan Altima on Halls Ferry Road left the roadway around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday and crashed into the Trustmark Bank near Pemberton Square Boulevard.

The woman apparently has a medical condition that caused her to crash the car. She has been transported to Merit Health River Region by fire medic 10.

Expect traffic at the busy intersection to be slow for some time.

Vicksburg police officer Russell Dorsey is investigating the crash.
