Wreck closes Washington Street ramp to I-20 east in Vicksburg

The rear trailer of a tandem 18-wheeler overturned on the Washington Street ramp to Interstate 20 east around 7:20 a.m. Friday.

The wreck peeled the top off off the trailer, spilling industrial supplies and a sealant onto the roadway and over the guardrail.

No injuries have been reported.

The ramp is closed until cleanup is completed, which could take as long as six hours.
