Wreck on Highway 3 with entrapped driver

Shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday, responders were dispatched to Highway 3 where a collision occurred between a log truck and a Ford Ranger.

Responders had to employ the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver of the Ranger.

He was then transported to Merit Health for treatment.  His condition was described as serious, but stable.

The log truck driver was not injured in the crash.
