A Yazoo Couple says they were the victims of a kidnapping by four men wearing masks.

According a report by WLBT, The event happened between late Wednesday and early morning Thursday.

The woman reported she was duct taped by four men who broke into their home on Cypress Circle. The man arrived to the home while the event was taking place and was pistol whipped. They were then placed inside his vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade, which the men also stole.

The woman stated to authorities the kidnappers let her go in Clinton. She stated she was instructed to retrieve $150,000 from her uncle, a Jackson resident. The men then left her the Escalade and her cell phone and drove away in another vehicle with the man in the trunk.

She then alerted police to her situation.

The man stated he was taken into Warren County and managed to escape by leaping from the moving vehicle. He was recovered by deputies and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A search was conducted of their Yazoo City home. Authorities report finding evidence of forced entry and seeing blood inside the hallway.

There is no word as to the identity of the suspects. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the case.
