Yet ANOTHER outside fire on 61 South

At 1:45 p.m. yet another outside fire has been reported in Warren County.

Warren County firefighters are en route to the 10150 area of US 61 South for a report of an outside fire. This is the third outside fire in the last hour and 15 minutes.

Conditions are perfect for brush and grass fires to quickly expand out of control. These fire hazard conditions have prompted Warren County Fire Coordinators, FireBoss, Jerry Briggs to request Warren County refrain from outside burning until conditions improve.

The state has yet to issue a burn ban in spite of fires across the state including a large on just off the Natchez Trace yesterday.
