Yocum and MCC’s golf team will compete in a NJCAA Championship

Meridian Community College will be competing in the National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship at the Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin, Missouri on May 17-20.

Former Porter’s Chapel Academy athlete Luke Yocum has become an asset for MCC, helping the team finish second in Regionals. The team now sits as the 2022 MACCC State Champions.

Another Vicksburg native Josh Hallberg is also on MCC’s roster.
