Youth Engage with Agriculture and Community at 4th Annual Vicksburg Extravaganza
The 4th Youth Extravaganza happened at the Vicksburg Community Garden Park last Saturday.
Presenters for educational exhibits, programs, and services came out to help youth learn about agriculture and engage with the community.
Alcorn State University nursing students provided valuable health screening services, AmeriCorps volunteers came out to help, Barry Batchelor, and many other volunteers and partners came out to help.
The event was supported by In Touch Community Services, Alcorn State University Extension Program, USDA, NRCS, Shape Up Vicksburg, United Way of West Central Mississippi, International Paper, E&L Development, and the City of Vicksburg.
