25th annual downtown Mardi Gras Parade
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Love is in the air, and beads are about to fly in downtown Vicksburg. The Vicksburg Main Street Program is thrilled to announce the 25th Annual Downtown Mardi Gras Parade, rolling into downtown Vicksburg this Valentine’s Day.
Grab your Krewe and head to Washington Street at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 14th, for an afternoon packed with color, music, and Carnival fun. Catch plenty of beads, soak up the festive spirit, and watch as this year’s Mardi Gras Queen, Chris Porter of H.C. Porter Gallery, leads a parade that promises to be bigger, brighter, and more exciting than ever.

Parade applications are now being accepted, and you can register online at vicksburgmainstreet.com or by contacting Vicksburg Main Street directly. The deadline for parade applications is 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6. The registration fee is $50. Applications submitted after the deadline will be subject to a registration late fee.
