The Vicksburg Daily News selected the All-County team based on player stats and coaches’ recommendations. This group of athletes is the first ever All-County Defensive football team selected  by Vicksburg Daily News.

Warren Central

Jalen Davenport- Defensive tackle, 39 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three sacks.
Jason Williams-Free Safety, three interceptions.
Gus Judge-Defensive tackle, 48 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks.
Malik Sims-linebacker, 94 tackles, two sacks, three rushing touchdowns on offense.
Tevin Bell- Cornerback, one interception, 17 pass deflections, 35 tackles.
Taylen Smith- Defensive end/linebacker, 50 tackles, six sacks, one interception.

 

Vicksburg High

Laurence Sullivan-cornerback, three interceptions, 60 tackles.
Eric Wesley- linebacker, 90 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles.
Marquise Blackmore- offensive and defensive lineman, team lead blocker, committed to play football at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

St. Aloysius

M.J. Robinson-linebacker, 78 tackles, one sack.
Cooper Madison- cornerback, 28 tackles, two interceptions.

 

Porter’s Chapel

Nicholas Powell- 89 tackles, three forced fumbles.
Michael Tod Andrews- 83 tackles, three interception, one forced fumble.
Jarius Cobbs-57 tackles, three tackles for loss.
John Michael Wilkerson- 55 tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries.
