Arrest Made in Speed Street Shooting

VICKSBURG, MS – Nicholas Clay, 29, of Vicksburg was taken into custody at the Police Department on Thursday, October 3, 2024, for his part in a shooting incident that occurred in the 1100 block of Speed Street on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. One man was injured in that altercation.

Clay appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday, October 3, 2024, charged with Aggravated Assault and Shooting into a Dwelling. Judge Lawson set his bond at $50,000 and bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
