David William Stewart 1974-2025

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — David William Stewart, affectionately called Tattoo 51, of Vicksburg passed away on September 8 in his home surrounded by family and friends.  

David was born April 30, 1974. He was a native of Vicksburg. He enjoyed spending time with his children, and grandchildren. David really loved driving big trucks and riding 4 wheelers and hunting He had a talent and passion for cooking and grilling.  David always had a way of bringing joy to others; whether it be cracking jokes or his infectious smile that could light up a room.  

David was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Jody Stewart.

He is survived by his brother Michael (Tammy) Stewart, his children, David Stewart , Jr, Kaylea (Skylar) Stewart, Tristen (Austin) Jones, his grandchildren, Kirsten, Scarlett, Hazel, Ember, Grant, Tommy and William.  

A memorial service will be held on Saturday the 20th September in the Chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home  at 2 p.m.
